< Statement >
My photography centres on the details that emerge when we soften our gaze. Seeking moments of intimacy through a conscious pause. Following my ME diagnosis, my physical world narrowed. My focus shifted to the immediate space around me: light on a wall, a worn object or the shape of a shadow. Printed on Japanese washi paper with visible fibres, these tactile works do not compete for attention. They reward a slow look.
